The distances between one district to another are generally short but journeys can take a long time. However, the splendid scenery and unspoilt natural beauty of the land and history of each places makes travelling within Bhutan a most enjoyable experience.

For tariff paying tourists, transportation's are arranged by their respective tour operators. SUV cars are used for 1 to 3 people, mini bus for 4 to 10 people and Toyota coaster buses for larger groups. and also we use DCM or Bolero as a Luggage car for larger groups. 

For regional tourist (Indian, Bangladeshis and Maldivians), who wanted to book Taxi's or Buses are also available but of limited sightseeing and hotel information knowledge. Therefore it is always an easier and better option to arrange your transportation through a licensed Bhutanese tour operators like Zoid Jin Tours. 

Domestic flight service

You also have option to use domestic flights and currently we have three domestic flight locations:

1. Gelephu at south

2. Bumthang at northern central region and;

3. Yonphula at East.

All domestic flight air tickets are also has to be book in advance.
